What the letter asks Delaware to do
  1. Enforce Delaware's firearm industry responsibility law, and give the attorney general the resources to use it.
  2. Require that handguns sold in Delaware include technology that keeps them from firing in the hands of a child or any other unauthorized user, as that technology becomes available.
  3. Strengthen Delaware's child access prevention law to require that guns be locked whenever they are not in the owner's control.
  4. To our members of Congress: repeal the federal Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, which gives the gun industry an immunity from lawsuits that no other industry enjoys.
